Cancelling AOL broadband

Does anyone know whether you can continue to use your aol email account (i.e. as a web based account) after you cancel their internet services?

 

And yes, I've tried googling this but couldn't find anything specific! But as this forum is the font of all knowledge someone on here might know!!
