for me, by far our most consistent and best player this season....definetly deserves to be our player of the year..

 

closest contenders -

 

carra - was imense last night...and has been for the past 3 months...did have a dodgy/rusty first few months...but is now showing the form of the istanbul year..

 

gerrard - not his best season by far.....but still an average steven gerrard season is an excellent one for most players

 

Reina - a couple of dodgy moments aside, you cant argue with the amount of clean sheets he has.....also has improved on crossing, and his throwing is unbelievable..almost schmeichel like

 

bellamy - maybe a suprise, though i think he has had an excellent first season for us.....again like carra was dodgy at the start, though once the court case was over....has really impressed me.

 

crouch - well, when hes played hes generally been very good and has impressive strike rate this season.....im still suprised hes not a first choice at the mo.

For me Finnan just edges out Agger as our player of the year thus far though that could change.

 

Meanwhile on the MOTM game thread he's virtually last. Conclusion? Joe Public is a c***.
