Yet another non event for Villa this season after a promising start. Will O'Neill turn it around once next season after he has a full Summer to spend Lerner's money or will Villa just be Villa and just make up the numbers? They are on 33 points at the moment, I can't remember anything useful they have done since Sept/October.

A club destined to stay in mediocrity. I have a slight feeling Lerner will be milking the TV money rather than investing heavily in a new team. His other team the Cleveland Browns have been useless for many seasons and certainly don't look to get any better.

my villa fan mate is reasonably happy with carew, thinks that young was hugely over-priced and that petrov is a spoofer.

There's an awful lot of dross and mediocrity that needs to be shipped out from Villa before they can start to improve.

 

Think O'Neill's done an alright job aside from that. I thought they were certs for relegation before the season started.
