Does anyone access the internet while on the move ?

I want to be able to check prices and stuff online while i'm out and about. I see there's now loads of Wifi hotspots in bars and hotels in every town so i'm guessing I just need a device with a wifi card and something like BT openzone credit ?

 

What PDA or laptop is best for Wifi access ?

 

Not sure whether having a PDA is going to slow me down too much though and a laptop with its keyboard would save a lot of time and trouble ?
