Just watching the DVD for the first time in ages. God there were some magical moments in that run weren't there? Milan's goal against Monaco, Biscan's great run away at Deportivo, Pongolle and Mellor's immediate impact against Olympiakos, Stevie's thunderbolt, the steward hugging Rafa, Biscan's (again) great run and pass for Garcia's opener at home to Bayer, Hamann's free kick, the susprising ease of the away leg (with Rafa popping in for a drink with the fans the night before), the blistering start to the Juve game with Hyppia's great volley and Garcia's absolutely stunning strike, a teenage Carson saving from Allesandro Del Piero, Alonso's returning from injury to play a wonderful role in Turin, Lampard missing from six yards at the Bridge, the most wonderful night seen at Anfield in many years when Chelsea were sent home, Carra putting up a brick wall, that prick Gudjohnson's miss. Incredible campaign.

 

And that's without mentioning the final...
