Credit Card/Finance help needed...

I bought something on 12 months interest free in January, and I got a credit card recently to pay the finance off and to transfer it to my credit card. Anyway, I rang Black Horse up to pay the settlement and he said 'how are you paying?', I said 'Visa', he said 'Debit Card?', I said 'no, credit card'. To which he responds with 'we don't accept Credit Cards, just Debit'

 

The money I need in order to pay the settlement is a couple of grand, which I aint got that hasn't already been accounted for (direct debits etc), so not sure what my options are. I got a sainsburys credit card, and I thought about withdrawing the cash from the cash point with that, but then a mate told me that they charge you loads for withdrawing cash! Is this true?

I could pay by debit, but then my families christmas will be non existent
