Racism/Sexism has come full circle

Was talking to my dad last night, who's father was from yemen, about the MOBO awards, its been done to death but I can only imagine the uproar if there was a MOWO awards ceremony

 

Interstingly, there was an article in todays daily mirror about a white male applicant for the police force being rejected because he was white and male. Apparently two thirds of white male applicants where automatically rejected in an 'advance diversity' drive

 

The spokesman for Gloucestershire police said "We thought this was lawful, positive action. We apologise for the distress caused to Mr Powell and others."

 

Astonished me that statement by the police spokesman.
