Oh here we feckin go.

I'm as pissed off as the next fan that we lost today, but it wasn't through lack of shots on target or possession. We played well enough to win today, and 3 clear cut chances for Crouch, Gerrard, and Kuyt should have gone in. If you watched the highlights then we were shyte, if you watched the game then we were the better team out there.

What game were you watching? The last 30 or so minutes? After Ballack got sent off we had new belief, the other 60 or so minutes Chelsea had us. Once Ballack had gone off we should of gone up, it's just we never put our chances away.

The only decent attempt we had when Ballack was on was Kuyt hitting the bar... The rest of the time we just wasted our passes - either too long or just straight to a chelsea player.

Oh give over,

if there is one thing that annoys me more than a fan moaning without reason its a super fan not admitting what he saw.

Creating chances does not win games, scoring them does!

Chelsea deserved the points because they scored one more than we did, we even had the advantage of one more man for the guts of the second half. I believe that we are better than we have showed so far this season, but lets not take away from the fact that we have been pants this season. end of.

That and Bellamy's chance ... oh and Gerrard's chance ... so basically up until the sending off it was a very even game between two very evenly matched sides. Just as it should be at the top of the table.

I can't tell you how sad I am that I annoyed you, it'll affect the rest of my day.

No s*** Sherlock, but where did I say creating chances won games? Good luck finding that.

You're so fecking clever to say Chelsea deserved the points because they scored one more than we did. Very good. I'm surrounded by Americans who know nothing about football, and they would say much the same thing. You should come over and hang out with them, you'd be in good company. So the FA Cup Final against Arsenal 5 years back...we deserved to win that game with 2 stolen goals from Owen at the end eh? Give over.

I wouldn't call Bellamys a chance, yes it was a pretty even game but to believe that all is right in the team is wrong, there is no natural flow in our play, our balance is not right and Gerrard looks like he has got another strop on.

Don't let facts get in the way of a good team-lashing.

Who the f**k has said that all is right in the team?

I was just correcting the false impression that Chelsea had the better of the game before Ballack was sent off. They clearly didn't. And Bellamy's was a good chance given it was on his right foot - he should have done better.

Rushian, you should know by now that if you're not ready to write the team off and trash all the players after a defeat, then you're a rose-tinted, smug, SuperFan who doesn't know what you're talking about.

Why thank you,

decent of you to admit you're sorry, and to say how clever I am, and if you are offering to pay for me to come over to hang out with your American friends then you got a deal!

I think if you look in the record books all it says about the 2001 FA cup final is that we scored 2 goals to Arsenals 1 so therfore we deserved the win.

Americans and myself may not know much about football, but I do know that you need to put the ball in the net to win, if we can't do that...

Sorry you know more than me.

Bellend.

I never said you did.

bellamy may have done better but it wasn't like Gerrards or Kuyts chance.

Chelsea took there one and only chance, we didn't take our two or three. They deserved the points.

Even when setup to make some sense, you're still way off the mark.

The record books saying we scored 2 goals to Arsenal's 1 means we won the game. You'd have to watch it, and know something about the game, to know whether we deserved to win the game. We didn't deserve to win the game, and obviously you know little about the game.

Bellend - that's a good one, very clever!

The ONLY and I mean ONLY positive to be taken out of the match, and you could argue the season.

The worrying thing for me is that, unlike Chelsea, there doesn't seem to be many runners from midfield.

If we play 4 central midfielders then we can have runners from central midfield. Then everyone will be complaining about lack of width.

I loved his reaction to Drobga's elbow. I'm paraphrasing here, but I believe something along the lines of:

"You elbowed me you chav b*****d. That's twice now. Do it again and you'll be playing golf with Tiger permanently. And get yer hair cut you t***."

We'll we've done exactly what we did last season and started poorly. We'll need an incredible run if we're to challenge for the league now, and already the teams who should be chasing Chelsea are cutting their own throats. Very disappointing, frankly. Season's not over but we've a tough, tough hill to climb now if we're to finish 1st.
