I was three, so i cant comment. However i do beleive the 89 side would have beaten the 86. in your opinon would they have beaten the 78 side? from memory thats the season were we only conceded 16 goals?

If they played away from home somewhere, the 1989 side would probably have beaten the 1978 side, IMO. But at Anfield it would have been a close run thing. Reckon the seventies side might have shaded it on fervour alone.
