big time, according to some builders I was with last night. The dauily rate for site labourers is through the floor to about £60 per day and the influx of foreign labour is driving down trades daily rate too, according to the chaps.

 

I've no great sympathy for some of the 'reades' I've used over the last few years, the guys who expect £150 to £200 a day for 5 hours work if you're lucky but if true surely this is a recipe for trouble, non?
