2 day trip to liverpool

I am finally making my first trip to Liverpool and am coming up to watch us play the qualifier....

 

was just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of cheap accomodation (im basically on a very tight budget) and anything i should definitely do/see.

 

Ive been looking forward to this for such a long time i want to do as much as i can.

 

Also where is the best place to park (i suppose near the ground is out of the question?)
