I think many of us were put off Kuyt by his World Cup performances. Some of the most blatant and incompetent diving I have ever seen!

Let's face it - we all had massive expectations of le Tallec, but he was not even judged to be effective enough to be a first-team regular for Sunderland last season.

A sad but pretty damning fact unfortunately.
