I was wondering about Rafa's new contract too.

 

Hopefully, it will be signed soon so that we don't get the whole 'Rafa to Madrid' media circus over the summer.

Rafa doesn't need a new contract yet. It could all go t*** up over the next two seasons, and we'll have a manager that we want to get rid of tied to a massive contract.

 

We don't want to end up paying a huge settlement figure like we did with Houllier.
