  1. Salah needs to be hooked. Dreadful again
  2. Diaz has been pretty good. Direct and actually looks like he wants to win.
  3. We are absolutely f***ing s***e!!!
  4. If I weren't so knackered tonight I'd re-quote you with the theme song from Gravity as the backing track
  5. I look forward to him getting in Pep's face and screaming 'Yippee Ki-yay Motherf***er'
  6. https://twitter.com/SMXLFC/status/1782784606107746542?t=X0-brANOwcVpn5lHpm2sQg&s=19
  7. It's pretty irrational considering Xabi is still on work experience and I couldn't have told you anything about Amorin a few weeks back, but this is starting to look a bit ominous. I don't know if anyone coming in after Jurgen would have united the whole fan base but it's going to be a pretty fractured place if it really is a 'brave' appointment.
  8. Groundhog day. Absolutely f***ing s*** again. No attacking threat and can't defend to save our lives
  9. A couple of clinical forwards, a top defensive mid and a central defender would be a great step forward. Ideally I'd like another more attacking midfielder to support Mac Allister as I think Szoboslai, Jones and Gravenberch lack impact. Tsimikas is fine to cover Robbo and Trent and Bradley should be more than enough at right back. Robbo and Salah in particular will need replacing soon so we should be planning for that though.
  10. It'll be interesting to see what our signings are going to be like with Edwards/Hughes. The last few have been pretty underwhelming tbh which does suggest the narrative around Jurgen/Pep having a greater say may be true. We've got a team of talented players that lack the strength of character we had with Mane, Firmino etc. We need a couple who will grab a game by the scruff of the neck when we're playing crap. The current squad look great when things are going well.
  11. Totally agree. Arsenal losing last week feels like when you go to the vet and keep the dog alive because you can't admit you need to put it down. On paper there's a chance, but in reality we're already dead
  12. Can we just get on with preparing for next season already? Can't be arsed watching this s***e as we limp to the final game of the season
  13. It is mate. We'd need to start playing 10x better than we are and we need Arsenal and City to drop points.
  14. This season is over for us
  15. This is s*** yet again. We don't look sound defensively and carry next to no goal threat.
  16. Well your response to me saying he was playing s*** was a sample size of 1 act so that was what I was responding to. In terms of the my comment he appears to rate himself higher than his ability... It's the way he dwells on the ball, flicks his foot at the ball to pass instead of actually passing it etc. He plays like a big time Charlie - probably is for Hungary. But he needs to knuckle down and actually start contributing on a regular basis.
  17. Robertson was more timid today than when he came on midweek. Probably understandable after a spell out but would have loved to have had Thursday's performance from him today.
  18. So he played 1 decent pass to the person who passed it to the goal scorer? He offers very little but gives the impression that he rates himself very highly. Jones (when fit) has offered a lot more.
  19. Szoboslai has been absolute dog s***e for ages. For me he plays like he thinks he's god's gift - nonchalantly passing the ball but not making it count. Diaz is annoying because he could be amazing (I do think he's been the best of the 3 a fair few times though)
  20. Just can't see it happening now. Our ability to kill off games is non-existent and we give chances away to everyone
  21. Well isn't that the most predictable f***ing thing ever. Absolutely s*** against this lot
  22. Plenty of time thankfully, but so f***ing predictable
