Hopefully Al Ansari is a fan of Rafa, surely everyone on that side will soon see our overwhelming support for Rafa and his team.

I usually would go nuts to think that our fans might boo anyone associated with our club, however I think the new owners might possibly ruin the club so if it was directed to just them then I think it's fine. Something has to be done about them.

Good point Ricflairandy, I'd forgotten about that whole episode. yes it was very unlike Rafa but I think you're dead right there actually. The unfortunate thing is, Rafa's reputation has been dragged through the mud since then. Who knows, maybe DIC will buy the club and treat Rafa better, maybe they'll fire him and hire Staunton... I find myself willing to take the risk though as these guys have offered nothing to the club yet except the money for Torres.. it's come at a high price though.

Even though I agree with you on loads of what you've said, this isn't the place to be arguing over American policies etc... having said that , you were practically accused of being racist so I guess you're well entitled to go all in at that stage. As for these planned protests at the games, I do hope they don't go in heavily with what american red is concerned about as anti american slogans etc. aren't going to make us any friends so I think it's best to focus on the men themselves and not the country they are from.

well for one thats just laughable.. such and such would only be here if it wasnt for their star players... the thing is.. nobody is accusing us of being a 1 man team anymore.. anyone else notice this! next season we'll be a 3 man team and in a few years they'll be saying that if it wasnt for half of our players we'd only be in league 1 or some other nonsense.

husterical, yes.. nonsense? not totally however this isn't the place to argue about american international policies. this is about 2 men who own our club and whether or not they are going to be good or bad for not only the future success but also the traditional manner in which the club has been run on and off the field.

I don't think we should be up in arms against both owners. I've not seen or heard anything negative from Gillet. Hicks is the problem if you ask me... as for this rubbish of what they promised... well yes they did promise the stadium and not to put the club into debt. but this world wide credit crunch has seen to both of those plans and if you don't find a way of adapting to the problems that come up, well you'll get nowhere.

I guess this is how I feel about it also. Ive often been frustrated with what look like bad selection choices but I think that if he had more quality , as in players would are good enough to make a place int he starting 11 their own then we would really see his potential. The main players don't generally get rotated at all.. I mean when Torres first came here, he was. If he Rotated now? No.. he almost always starts for us now.

I agree, he's not blameless... only a blind moron would say it's been all rosey under rafa, but I am a strong supporter of him cause I do believe that with REAL financial backing , he'll bring us success..blah!

Of course... Im sure a lot of us would have started with different team selectio in the previous games leading to the final and gotten knocked out too. When the smoke clears, I just hope Rafa has some supporters left... and a job!

you think so? I thought we played pretty well against Milan... especially after seeing how they stuffed man utd in the 2nd leg. Seems to me that rafa won the tactical battle on the night... unfortunately the score didn't mirror that but that's football.

Only a small thing really but I can imagine the owners and fansd would all be delighted with Rafa if we'd have beaten Milan for the 2nd time. I don't know.... Part of me wants to scream at Hicks for mouthing off again, that really upsets everyone at the club. Things are bad enough as they are but this is just going to make matters worse. Another part of me thinks that maybe, just maybe it's 50% press hype. I mean, Rafa has been allowed to sign Skrtel for 6.5m and that shows some level of backing. Whether you're upset at the owners (Might I add that I've not seem Gillet put a foot wrong himself) or not, the very best and only thing we should be doing is giving the team that extra bit of support. I'm not sure any owners out peitions or banners etc are going to help the stability of the club in the short term... and since we're half way through a season, the best thing to do is to not get all upset, support the team and see how it pans out really.

Also, I hate gray lastnight cause he was way too much for the underdog... i mean you expect it alright but it was getting on my nerves after a while... having said that, I think gray is good at what he does. has anyone forgotten the "you beaaauuttieeeaaahhhh!" He's good at the drama, making the game seem more interesting and he won't always be against us or on our side... so meh basically.

Apparently, Gray and tyler can't stand eachother.. as far as i know they refused to work together there a few years ago.
