I wonder wether Alpha plays CM? What he is looking for is a dream eleven...Harlem Globetrotters..... I am sure there are many better strikers than Crouch and Cisse....Better Centre Mids than Gerrard or Alonso....Better CH than Carra oor Hyypia But I tell you,,,,you could pick the worlds greatest midfilder and centre half and they wouldnt get in our team ahead of Alonso, Gerrard or Carragher It isnt about wether someone is a superstar it is wether they fit into our system........Now Alpha names Riise as an attacking full back, well left back is a weak area...... A full backs job is to defend...first and foremost...after that he is to support his colleague on that flank and offer width....Finnan fills that and some..he also firs with the rest of the team......If Zanetti came into our team it would become unbalanced... Kromkamp has been brought in to provide cover and competition...It isnt a reflection on Finnan, or an indication that we are missing something down the right flank

i have not seen that much of Kromkamp I will admit and if he pushes Finnan and displaces him then fine, however I think he has been bought in as cover and to cover right mid as well...... as for Zambrotta, you could do this in every position...but sometimes players fit into a system and into a team and I will state again, I wouldnt swap Finnan in OUR team for any full back
