Small minded comment that. My sense is that a lot of people on here are quite happy with Liverpool at the moment. If we were to be relegated, you lot would still be putting a positive spin on it. This player was in the Valencia team when Rafa took over, realised he was a disruption and got rid of him, he had too much influence on the other players, perhaps some positive and negative, but nevertheless he got rid of him - influence is influence. My view is that Rafa knows this, hence the alleged friction between the two of them. Everytime I see Gerrards face, he is miserable. No. However, they should be looking at the root causes for the mess we are in. Tell me, what's the difference between "morale" and "team spirit"? Is Gerrard above criticism? Get a reality grip, it will help you get to a more objective view.

Being "die hard optimists" is noble. However, where does the balance come from? Some of comments on here are unbelievabley optimistic about Liverpool this season - when all the evidence points to the opposite - and with regard to us winning the title - the evidence is absolutely none existant. Don't expect too much, and I think you will be alright. When the evidence suggests we could win the title, then being "expecting" is reflecting the reality. PS: Goodnight all.

Being realistic and not in denial gives a more objective view. Someone on here said that we had a great season last year. If that was the case then winning the FA Cup was even more likely.

I would say the FA Cup was "more likely"....The title over 38 games is not likely, there is no evidence to support it.
