Andy, I would say that our glorious past is a millstone around the club's neck. Granted we won old big ears for the fifth time - but if we use our glorious past as an incentive then why haven't we won a title for donkey's years? The longer it goes without winning it, the more pressure gets heaped upon the club, resulting in knee-jerk reactions - such as, perhaps Moores selling the club to some johnny foreigner just interested in making a quick buck. My old man used to drum it into my head when I was a kid, he always used to say "you see that club, son, your watching the best f***ing club in the world - them players are f***ing proud to put that red shirt on their backs and don't you forget it". Do you feel that about our great club anymore, mate?
