The Bellagio in Vegas paid for itself within the 1st year, so I think we need a Casino in the stadium

Not a chance cobs, just saw the other angle, and he just barreled in, unless he was pushed from outside the box.

And a good effort by kewell, that was s*** refereeing. Schwarzer was impeded.

Wow.. 1-0 Japan, bizarre goal. floated in from outside the box, schwarzer got bumped, and the goal stood.

indeed its nice and open, viduka getting in some good positions early. I'm surprised that what 8 games in there has yet to be a pen.

and so it was writ, and so scot said let it not be 1-1 totally screwup in defence bravo scores his second. 2-1 3-1 great header.. from Zinha

yup fonseca came on, but they can't do any more obv. Slowed right down this has.

lol... code Borgetti has gone off injured, and with the mexicans already making a double substituion at half time, all subs are used up. Borgetti going off might encourage Iran to try and push on for a 2nd goal. Pretty slow start to the 2nd half.

oh now it's on.. like donkey kong 1-1 Another goal from a set piece.

Nicely worked setpiece.. Mexico 1-0.. Bravo with the goal. Iran appealing for offside.

balboa is scary looking.. Smashing looking stadium.

harkes was good today, the worst so far has been that Shep Messing guy or whoever it was.. Lalas and Foudy now doing the pre-show for mex-iran

those rose coloured spectacles in your man bag are clouding your vision, as are your tears over 24 Spoiler » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «tony almeida...

Show me where they were anywhere near as creative in the 2nd half as the dutch.

I don't think holland are playing worse than england at all, Robben and Van Persie are playing well, creating chances. Kuyt's not done a lot since he's come on. and that's this one wrapped up 1-0 Holland.

robben killing the serb's playing real well. Koroman made a difference when he came on there. Early sub for s&m

Well taken goal by Robben..

The Orange kits look great, as they did yesterday for Ivory Coast, but there are a ton of them in the stadium..

the espn crawl is horrendous, I dislike it soo much. today the commentary has beeen the worst, esp the arg-ivc match.. too much baseball/basketball in the paint talk..

Someone over on one of the tivo forums mentioned something about potential HD broadcast of EPL games for next season. I've no idea who would carry it or where the bandwidth would come from, but I hope this doesn't mean less footy. Maybe Setanta got the rights? they had the UEFA games for pool It would be great if the games were free.. I paid for the EPL package on Directv. think it was 269 last year.

nap time on the west coast..

Didn't play all that good today england. happy with the win I'm sure. Go Sweden..

Yup ref very anti the bigman... Paraguay are playing well this 2nd half, england happy to try and control. Not much attacking for England. Should be out wide way more and getting crosses in

Crouch the dangerman.... Yellow for I don't know, balboa here says dissent laugh.. Robinson hit the big screen with his kickout.

Paredes should have headed that.
