Bootle Buck

Newcastle must be taking a trip to their favourite place Otherwise were do they keep coming up with supposed 16 million for Owen and 25 million for Rooney FIRM bids.

Some valid points there. To look at it even simpler. Player with us for 7 yrs leaves for greener pastures and to win trophies. Team he leaves despite horrendous injury problems goes on to win the biggest club competition in years. However, instaed of building on that we have sold one of the strikers who was instrumantal in our CL victory, almost lost our skipper and best player and are unsure of the future of our largest signing after 30 games. Player who left last season is told he has no future with current club despite saying he would stay and fight for his place week earlier. He earmarks one team to come back to a. Very close to his empty mansion b. Wife is pregnant c. Close to his family Is the club bending over backwards to sign MO because they really want him, it is commercially a good business deal or they couldn't stand the thought of him playing for another Premier club. Let's hope everyone is on the saame page if MO does come back as I would hate to see Rafa undermined, especially after what he has been through at Valencia and The Owen and Gerrard Saga's of last summer.

Maybe Moores has a masterplan for young Mickey. In Lieu of a reduced wage and smaller transfer fee he gives him a peice of the action. i.e shares in the club. Later MO can increase his stake and take over the club as his retirement plan. Cue Dr. Evil............... muhahahahhahha

Woodsyla is that inside info or your opinion. If it is the latter how can you be so sure when Rafa has not made one comment regarding his desire to sign Michael Owen. Until Real Madrid signed the two Brazilians MO was not part of Rafa's plans. He surely had other strikers in mind at the end of last season.

With a cheque

We should have signed Graveson.

I honestly think this lad could be a great signing for us. I am not sure how long a contract he is on. However, I would imagine if the Mancs or the Gunners come calling they woudl get him. I think we should shoot in front of them. Maybe Sammi might be able to have a word.

Have you seen Daio play

I'd rather play with 10 men.
