  2. Kewell appears to move slowly - he's got a kind of languid run. But he has been outpacing defenders alot lately, he skinned Geremi in the FA cup. I don't think Harry is a slouch by any stretch of the imagination. He might not be Cisse, but he's faster than he appears to be!!!
  3. We all know you are mates with Heskey, and have a soft spot for Heskey, but can't you see that you are in a minority in thinking he is a better player than any of the forwards we have today? How do you explain that? I'm drinking Prazky at the moment by the way - cheap, but tasty!
  4. You are having a laugh right? What do you base that opinion on? I'd be happy with Owen or Baros at the moment - but Heskey no way... I think Crouch is a far, far better played and brings alot more to the team than Heskey ever did. And as I remember it Heskey used to develop a famous limp when things weren't going his way, and was more often than not out-muscled by smaller and lighter defenders. He had the potential to bruise defenders as he is build like a Ox, but he rarely ever delivered on that potential.
  5. I wouldn't have Heskey back ever. Nice lad, but not good enough for us.
  6. What is the story with Agger at the moment? Has he picked up a knock or is it just fitness and he hasn't quite adapted yet to the pace in the PL? I know he was recovering from a somewhat lengthy injury when he arrived, so is it just match fitness? I expected him to take more pressure off Carra and Sami when he arrived than he has so far... Still looks very classy and full of potential when he does play to be fair to the lad!
  7. Still think he was one of the most passionate players I've ever seen wear the jersey. Pretty useless to be fair, but always gave his all. Saw him at the Steve Staunton testimonial in Dublin for the game against the Republic of Ireland and he spent the whole time "Cheerleading" the crowd, dancing around, laughing. He was like a fan who blagged his way onto the subs bench. What a legend... Edit - just did a Google on him and found this: The Erik Miejer Homepage Seems that Icons have taken down the very famous Sami Hyppia Fish Dish ... PS - If you have a look in there (haven't been on Icons in years) you'll see that the one and only Internet Legend Cherno Samba has a web site and he is very proud to have just signed for up to a team in the Spanish 2nd division!!!!
