  1. http://hfdinfo.com/ The money raised has funded 100 press packs and 3050 copies of the booklet. Any leftover once the project is completed will be distributed equally between the three Hillsborough groups.
  2. The 3000 printed copies have now arrived in Liverpool. An initial drop has been made at the HJC so matchgoers should be able to pick one up there. Hopefully there will be more there in time for the anniversary (tbc). If you do pick one up, take an extra one for your local newspaper, school, MP or local team. Better yet, get onto this thread: http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=240615.0 and help to spread these booklets to the places they'll do the most good. It's important that our own fans know the facts but even more important that the message spreads beyond our own. Everyone in the UK reading this has an MP, so every one of you can do something positive to help. The organisers of this have worked their socks off, the people who donated have helped to make it possible and now there's one last chance to push so that when the anniversary comes round and national attention finally turns to that day which we've lived with all these many years, the facts will be on their way to all corners of the nation and beyond. They've already landed on the desks of much of the media, help to send them to the people that have the power to make changes and let them know that's what you want. Please help if you can.
  3. Anyone able to help with contacting local MP's? http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=240483.0
  4. There'll be further press packs sent out so if you know of anyone that should get one...
  5. Thanks for posting this Flight. I did contact this site earlier when fundraising began but my email may have gone astray? In any case this initiative deserves wide support. Go to Hdfinfo.com and download the main HFD document and read it. Then take a look at the press packs which are on their way to the media. They include further supporting documents which you can find on the Hfdinfo site. All well worth a read. Shortly, thanks to the generosity of fellow reds, there will be a further 3000 printed copies of the main document and the organisers will need help to distribute them. Perhaps you have contacts within the worlds of Politics, Education or the Media? Then get in touch via the feedback@hfdinfo.com address and offer to take some of the booklets and distribute them. Or maybe you're a member of a supporters club and could take a few copies to distribute on the coach to the match? Even if you don't know anyone directly to send the copy too you can always give one to a child in your family to take to their local school, or send a copy to your local MP and ask them whether they support the disgraceful actions of the authorities in denying the families the justice that was their right. The better educated our own support, the better able they are to advance the cause of the families and survivors. This is one iniative which everyone can get behind and add their own contribution.
  6. As part of Liverpool Football Club’s coverage of the 20th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster, the club’s TV channel, LFC TV, and official website will be producing a series of programmes and articles to mark the tragic events of April 15 1989. The centre piece of the coverage will hopefully be the broadcasting of the memorial service live on both the club channel and website, allowing as many fans, friends and relatives as possible to pay their respects, wherever in the world they may be. The full breakdown of our coverage will be revealed nearer the time but all shows for the channel and articles for the website will certainly involve players past and present, survivors, supporters and relatives of the fans who lost their lives. To allow as many fans as possible to see the coverage of the 20th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster, LFC TV will be available to watch free for 24 hours on April 15 while all video content made available on the website will be free to download or watch online for ever. Through our coverage on the day one theme we'd like to get across is the fact that we want to remember and celebrate 96 individual human beings. They may have become known collectively as ‘The 96’ but on that fateful day 20 years ago, it was a mother’s son, a child’s dad, a brother, a sister, a close cousin who all left home to attend a football match. Every one of the people who died at Hillsborough was their own person – with their own life story – and ideally, we’d like to reflect this in our coverage of the anniversary. We have a number of ideas of how we will do this but one is to feature the faces of all those who died as a result of Hillsborough on both the homepage of the website and the TV channel. On LFC TV, a photo montage – with one picture following another – would be shown with the name of each individual placed below the photo. The photo montage will be set to an appropriate musical soundtrack. To make this work, we need your help to acquire a photo of each of the 96 individuals. This could be a photo of your choice that can be sent to Hillsborough, LFC TV, Media House, Unit 14, Matchworks II, Speke Road, Liverpool L19 2RF – obviously we will return all pictures sent in – or the photo could be emailed to Hillsborough@liverpoolfc.tv. Whether the picture is emailed in or posted, it is essential that the following information is included: The name of the person in the photo Your name Your Relation to them (Family, Relative or friend) Return Address to send photo back (doesn’t apply to email) Contact Number (optional) If you can help in any way, it will be much appreciated. If you can’t help, but know someone who can, please pass on this message. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to get in touch via email to Hillsborough@liverpoolfc.tv and we will ring you straight back. Thanks Paul Rogers --- If you can help out with this one please send an email to the address above. I will check on the thread but it's a lot easier to sort these things via email. Cheers all, Matt

  8. Hi All, As part of their coverage of the upcoming 20th anniversary of Hilsborough, LFC TV are trying to track down TV footage of the memorial match played between Celtic and Liverpool on 30th April 1989. Does anyone have a copy of the game or highlights on VHS or DVD? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Let me know either on this thread, via IM or by email communitymanager@liverpoolfc.tv Thanks, Matt
  9. Hi All, Dutch striker Dirk Kuyt will soon be visiting our LFC TV studios to film an episode of 'Sixty Minutes' - and we want you to play your part in the show by asking the questions. Whether you want to ask Dirk about his Anfield career, any of the goals he's scored, his early footballing days in Holland, players he's played with or heroes he's idolised, this is your chance. Whatever you want to ask our 28-year-old striker, we're giving you the opportunity ahead of another exclusive LFC TV show. Please post your questions in this thread and we'll put a selection of the best and most original ones to him on your behalf during the course of the programme.
  10. Just been chatting to the Producer. He's keen to get some new people to call up and have their say. The issue of crowd support/frustration should be an interesting one, certainly read some interesting takes on it the past few days, hopefully some of you will give Tony and AK a call about it?
  11. Liverpoolfc.tv is marking the 10th anniversary of Steven Gerrard's first team debut with a series of features this week. There's some excellent interviews on the way, starting with a fulsome tribute from Rafa Benitez. If you want to pay your own tribute to the skipper on this thread the best may be used on the official website towards the end of the week.
  12. I still think he'll come good.
  13. My mistake. I must've confused them with Norwich. Abel Xavier was a better defender than Diao.
  14. I'm not so sure. Warner went on to do well for Wolves. I can't remember much from Pegguy or Itandje that would put them above him?
  15. I think it was finished yesterday afternoon... :lol:Everyone has worked really hard on it, especially Matt Walker the Producer/Director.
  16. I went to a preview screening of this last night at FACT. It's a really good watch. There's some great interviews, liberally peppered with brilliant goals. If you wanted a reminder of just what an exceptional footballer John Barnes was you should definitely tune in.
  17. There's some links and feedback from fellow reds on the Rawk guide: http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index....c,17158.new#new
  18. I'd like to hear the answer to that one too. I hope he talks about the different partnerships he's made during his time here. The partnership with Henchoz was one of the best I've seen. I think Hamann's superb shielding of them helped, but the understanding between Sami and Stephane was brilliant to watch.
  19. Long-serving Anfield star Sami Hyypia will be visiting our LFC TV studios next week to film an episode of 'Sixty Minutes' - and we want you to play your part in the show by asking the questions. With a decade of service at the club behind him the Finnish star is already guaranteed legendary status among the fans - and now we're giving you an exclusive chance to ask Sami the question of your choice. Whether you want to ask him about the highs and lows of his time at Anfield, the players he has starred alongside past and present, his life in England or any other question, this is your chance. Please email your questions to admin@liverpoolfc.tv, with the subject line marked as Sami Hyypia questions'. We'll put a selection of the best and most original questions to him on your behalf during the course of the programme. -- I'm looking forward to this one, legend gets thrown about far too often but I think Sami's the real thing. If you want to ask a question just put it below and I'll forward it onto the tv guys.
  20. Living in America killed my pool game and my spelling
  21. I've watched plenty of our games at Cheers Bar. There's others that show them but it depends very much on whereabouts in Sydney you are. Ancient Briton in Glebe used to show games for one.
  22. There's a few entries there for France together with links to the French supporter assc that may have more: http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index....20287.0.new#new
  23. That'll teach me to c&p I think the 80's will win quite easily but it might not be a fair comparison, the 80's team benefitted from the deeds of the 70's imo.
  24. Another LFCTV program would like your contributions: The Great Debate returns to LFC TV on Monday night at 9pm and this time we want to know what was the greatest decade on the pitch for the Reds - the Seventies or the Eighties? The Sixties might have seen Bill Shankly rebuild the club and lead the Reds to FA Cup glory while the Noughties have already seen Gerard Houllier and Rafael Benitez land 10 trophies between them but neither decade can touch the Seventies and Eighties for sheer footballing domination. Now we want you, the supporters, to decide whether it's the Seventies or the Eighties that can lay claim to being the best decade on the pitch for Liverpool Football Club? Were Liverpool achievements during the 1970s - lifting a first European trophy in 1976, being crowned Kings of Europe a year later and winning four titles - enough to secure the title of Liverpool's greatest footballing decade? Or was what followed even better? Does glory in Rome against Roma and near-total domination on the domestic front, including a historic double in 1986, mean we can't look past the 1980s when judging the Reds decade on the pitch? By 11pm on Monday, we'll provide the answer. The minute The Great Debate kicks off on LFC TV, a poll will go live on the official website, liverpoolfc.tv, asking supporters the very same question we'll be asking our two studio guests and viewers at home: What was Liverpool's greatest decade on the pitch? Visitors to the website will be able to cast their vote up until 10.50pm, while all fans will be welcome to call up the show and debate the subject with our two special guests, Brian Reade (Daily Mirror columnist, author and kop Season Ticket holder) and Nicky Allt (author, playwright and lifelong Liverpool fan), two men who were both there when Liverpool were sweeping all before them aside. While fans vote on the website, the show on LFC TV will present a case for each decade with classic match action and contributions from special guests. We'll be updating viewers on how the voting is going throughout the show and we'll also be sharing some of the views posted by supporters on not only the official website's message boards but also the forums of various independent LFC websites. If you've got something to say, we want to hear from you – either live on the night or posted up on a message board. We also want you to vote on the night – it's LFC TV's Great Debate but only you can decide the outcome. The show starts at 9pm on Monday with the vote opening simultaneously on liverpoolfc.tv. The best responses / arguments in support of either decade will be read out on the show. Cheers, Matt
  25. I guess the title says it all. LFCTV will be interviewing one of our Istanbul heroes soon. So if there's a question you'd like to see put to our former keeper put it here and I'll pass it onto the tv guys.
