Shambolic bordering on surreal at times. That's as bad as I can remember under any manager. So many bog standard players unable to do the basics and struggling in a suffocating system. For a man who constantly bangs on about the team and the 'details' we are absolutely cluless and play like strangers. I wouldn't mind if we matched them for graft but we were outmuscled and outfought on our own patch. When you're relying on weak characters like Lucas to inspire the team from midfield, and donkeys like Kuyt to provide cutting edge, you're on a slippery slope downwards. But I'm sure the owners will cope the blame, or net spend, or the ref - anything and anyone but the man who is paid a fortune to prepare and motivate the team. I mean, he only had a week to work with the team for tonight. He and that other robot Pellegrino need to toddle off back to Spain with their clipboards.
