The more I have seen the Momo/Xabi partnership develop, along with the prospect of a creative playmaker being brought in, I think it would be a great idea to play Gerrard on the right.

rafa said the other day that gerrard, alonso and sissoko give the perfect combination of qualities.

 

rafa also said that in this week's champions league mag that when we control a match and play at our best, we play 4-2-3-1. as alonso and sissoko are likely to be the 2, that leaves wide right, attacking centre, or wide left as stevie's position.
