Train help needed.

Hi everyone, hope someone can help. The missus works in Liverpool and she lives in Bolton, and she gets the train from Bolton to Manchester, and then on to Liverpool. As you can imagine, this is quite a long journey every morning, and its costing her nearly £300 a month. And she only gets £750 as it is. I know people are going to say about getting another job, but she is doing something she really wants to do, and she has to do the journey to get where she wants in life.

Does anyone here have a godd understanding of the Train service, and does anyone know if there are any cheaper tickets available? I have had a look but its all mumbo jumbo to me. Becuase she uses different companies you cant get a good special offer. All the seperate compaines have their own.

I know its a long long shot, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
