Dudek was absolute class in his first season, definitely one of the top keepwers in the world then. However, I never understood the double-deal with Kirky. Why did GH spend that amount of money on two 1st choice keepers ???

Always assumed it was a balls up.

 

But everyone's right, Jerzy was just phenomenal when he first came - and he wasn't bad in Istanbul either. A genuine Liverpool legend.
