Someone here posted an article from the Echo a few weeks ago (think it was the Echo...). The writer said something along the lines of "it has already been decided by the british press that Peter Crouch's signing was a mistake and no matter how well he plays they won't go back on their decision - even if it means pathetically trying to take goals off the player".

 

Think that sums it up well.
