Liverpool talks for Deportivo rebel Coloccini

 

Liverpool are in tentative talks with Deportivo La Coruna over defender Fabricio Coloccini.

The Argentina international was dropped from coach Joaquin Caparros' squad last week after his agent went public over his frustrations at a lack of first team opportunities this season.

 

The Guardian says Liverpool have expressed interest in Coloccini, but will only consider the defender for a loan deal

Inter Milan patron Massimo Moratti is weighing up a £7 million bid for Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse.

 

Coach Roberto Mancini has already told Moratti he needs to sign a new striker next month with Obafemi Martins committed to Nigeria's African Nations Cup campaign.

 

Inter have already recalled Nigerian whiz Victor Obinna from Chievo, but the teenager has also been selected by Nigeria for the tournament.

 

Moratti is understood to be preparing a £7 million bid for Cisse, well aware the Frenchman is frustrated with his bit-part role at Anfield.

You never know, maybe this once they'll get it right. Would be a good signing on loan anyway if it was true imo. Rather have someone permanently tho.

Having seen Collicini in the Confed Cup last summer he struck me as a thug with a perm. Wasn't impressed at all....... with the perm or the off the ball elbowing
