Indy boards that boat, starts kicking everyones a*** then blows it up? Why can he get away with murder?! Also, I'm still not sure if he is immortal at the end or not. The knight says that if the graile goes beyond the seal, it'll lose it and that's the price of immortality. Not sure if he just meant the grail or immortality (or both)!

I think there is the presumption that the people on the boat are thieves and therefore 'deserve' it!

Indy and his dad do become immortal. It's just that the grail can't pass the seal.

I thought the immortality couldn't pass te seal. Hence why the knight is still there. I think the seal is the boundary of immortality so to speak.

Yes. That's right. Otherwise, the next Indy film is going to be pretty dull.

There were a few rumours that the next film would be set in the present day/near future, with the explanation that Indy looks as young as he does (Harrisson Ford was obviously not 35-ish in 1938) due to the fact that he drank from the 'Cup of Life' and, whilst not giving him eternal life (as he has passed the seal) it has extended and prolonged it.

Not sure if this script is the one they are going with, but I certainly hope it isnt the one that George Lucas wrote about Indy's son and the Knights Templar... that one was schoite!
