I'm not a fan, especially when I'm there to do a technical evaluation and the candidate has stuff on their CV that they can't actually speak to. Like it's not the f***ing 90's where you can blag a HR or finance bod who was made a manager of an IT department, people interviewing you now generally have a clue and not being able to talk to your CV is f***ing rubbish.

 

So don't blag it and if you blag it do some work so you can at least blag the blagging bit

 

And if you are going to ignore the above please try not to be super f***ing nice so that I feel like s*** asking you questions you aren't able to answer and feeling disappointment you aren't in the running.
