Need to do a tax return for 2013/14 and went through the process to register. Duly got a SA pack.

 

Then got letters saying I had not completed a 12/13 return and would be fined. Called them and it turned out I had made a direct payment to them in January 2013 so did not need to return a 12/13 return, and the letter had been auto-generated.

 

then got more letters stating I would be fined. Wrote to them explaining the situation and got a response which didn't address any of the questions I put to them saying yes I should complete a 13/13 return. Called up again to complain/clarify and after 15 minutes of twatting around with pre-recorded options and advice their phone 'service' says 'we're too busy now...bye' and hangs up.

 

Anyone got experience in dealing with this incompetent shower of c****?
