I need to eat at Simon Rogan's restaurant

and then punch Phil Howard in the face

Alan Murchison needs a kick in the knackers as well.

Simon Rogan's food does look amazing, although I would have to ask for extra sausage with his starter.

Ha!!!

That will do me.

I want to give Chris Fearon an arm round the shoulder and tell him chin up lad.

They should have put Rogan's starter, fish, main and desser on there.

have it at his restaurant

Yeah, don't really know why they put him and the Welsh lad through. Their food was at a different level to the rest, through no fault of their own.

I actually like Johnny Mountain, that show where he told Marcus Wareing to f*ck off was brilliant.

"Johnny, can I just say something?"

"No, f*ck off."

I can't stand Marcus Wareing.

What's the fish in this dish?

Its not about that

it kind of is, its the fish course.

I dont like Wareing at all, pompous t***.

I think the brief confused a few of them this time.

Everyone who went out of their way to do something olympic-themed ballsed up essentially.

My Missus started to lose patience with the GBM when Richard Corrigan stated it was always his ambition to cook for the queen when he was growing up.

I'm sure that went down really well in Cork the big d****ead

I agree with that

Nathan Outlaw just cooked stuff from his menu really!

I think the Welsh guy stuck to "the brief" way too much and forgot that the food is suppose to be top notch - rabbit 5 ways? 5 different types of fish in rings....... I like Simon Rodgers and looks to be a brilliant chef. It was funny when Phil Howard wasn't allowed to cook. Althought its a bit like telling Steve G you have to sit this match out - your not good enough!!!

that Northern Ireland lad looks to be afraid of him! Also the 2* fish chef seemed very put out by the fact he didn't score top 3 in the fish section - tough s*** mate!!.

Very entertaining program though. One of the things I like about Masterchef the professionals is the genuine passion for food and lack of egos that comes across in most contestants. With GBM it seems that to make it as a really top chef you need to have a ego, huge self belief and talent too. Same could be sent of most people at the top of their game though.

love GBM.. still got the last two episodes plus the 'banquet' episode to watch.. got to wait for my little girl to watch it with me though - she loves cookery programs.. she's mad for the English and Australian 'Junior' Masterchef.. some of the food those kids put up is immense..

back to GBM - the one thought i've taken from this series is that i want to eat at Simon Rogan's L'Enclume.. he's at the top of his game..
