Graphics card issues?

Hey guys brought a Packard Bell imedia A5518UK about 7 months ago mainly for web browsing and a bit of PC gaming (age Of Empires/Stalker ect ect) But i have JUST had the time to install games and have a go and am having massive issues!

 

The screen keeps blacking out for 5-10 seconds also loosing sound on and off this happens a few times every few seconds then the system will either crash or i will get annoyed and give up!

 

I have ran all the updates and also used the Nvidia website as well as auto updates and all is fully up to date!

 

Was wondering if and of you have any ideas and if not PC world should be able to either offer me a refund on the machine or offer a free Graphics card upgrade?

 

not sure what my chances are on either after 7 months but im intending on giving it a crack!

 

 

If this isnt resolved im refusing to give them any more of my money ever again!

 

(The card is a Nvidea G100 before im asked)

Also the machine just shut its self down for no reason!
