Two questions.

 

What do you think we should should do in the way of buying players to grab the title?

 

What do you actually think we'll do given the strange mix of us landing these new souces of funds and us having lying, cheapskate owners?

looking at the table as it stands, given who has games in hand doesnt make pleasant reading. I believe the current owners are content to spend only the bare minimum needed to keep us in the top 4 and thereby in the CL for next season - if we're 5/6/7 in January I'd expect to see some spend, if we're 3rd or 4th sadly I see nothing forthcoming. Unfortunatley being able to grab anything doesnt come into it - come 1st 2nd 3rd or 4th and we will still get CL regardless of which position we finish in, thats good enough for the owners even if it is not good enough for us.
