Anybody manage to catch this game last night (or this morning to the Euro dwellers!!)?

 

Seattle had over 60,000 people at Qwest Field to watch this game and the crowd was mostly Seattle fans who made one hell of a noise during the game.

 

On the pitch Barcelona played a full strength team in the first half and left Seattle floundering most of the time as they passed their way out of defence and up the field.

 

Messi scored 2 nice goals and had the Seattle defence quaking every time he got the ball.

 

Only a friendly, but the Seattle players will be having nightmares about those dayglo pink shirts flying all around them.

 

On a related note, some of the crowds for the series of friendly games over here have been huge, over 94,000 people watched LA Galaxy play Barcelona and they expect a similar crowd when DC United play Real madrid at the weekend.
