Also it is our best points total since we won the League in 87-88 when we got 90pts from 40games. All in all, the positives this season far outweigh the negatives, yes we fell short by a few points but it is encouraging to see a Liverpool team once again who believe they can win the title.

If I'd thought last August that we'd get 43 points from 19 away games this season I'd have bet my knackers on us winning the League.

Unbeaten at home, but that's where we lost it.
