Sky friends and family

Thinking about switching from Virgin to Sky to get the extra HD stuff and Sky 1. Girl I just spoke to mentioned Sky Friends and Family, which gets the box for £49 (currently £75) and the subscription (which will be £88/mth for me) for half price. She said all you need is someone to give you a code.

 

Done the usual googling, as I don't know anyone at Sky, but does anyone know if there is a way to get a code without actually having a friend or family member working for Sky? My guess is it's probably not that easy, or everyone would do it, but thought it was worth a shout - just in case.
