Yes, today is the big derby day.

Where I come from, it’s normal to have a little prayer and attempt to gather the positive energy we all collectively exude, when faced with a tough challenge.

This match is important in so many ways. We can be certain that United, Chelsea and Arsenal will win their respective games, and we need the three points to stay in immediate contention, especially with regards to the next couple of difficult away fixtures. (City, Chelsea) We need to be close to Chelsea when we play them in a month’s time.

Being from out-of-Liverpool it may be hard to understand the rivalry between Liverpool and Everton, but most of us can share the importance of this fixture. I for one will be send all my positive powers towards England for a red victory today.

And for those on the way to the stadium, take no prisoners, sing your hearths out, give the team a worthy backing and they will respond in victorious manner.

Forget Hicks and Gillet for one day, and let’s show these Blue b******s, the corrupt FA, and the London biased media some classy football.

1-0 Torres (p) 89’
