Long Shot

I know this is a long shot but does anyone have any knowledge of this friendly match. Not sure what year exactly it was but It was played in Winsor Park and my late Dad brought me to it when I was a boy. It started my life as a Livepool fan. I'm from Dublin but my Dad was from Belfast and we were up there visiting our relatives when he saw that the match was on. I remember Roger Hunt but not much else. I'd love to see a report or record of it.

That's it Ok. It was actually a selection of players from the League of Ireland (South Ireland) and the Irish League (Northern Ireland) - must have been playing under the Linfield name. Historical in that once the troubles started in 1969 this would not have been possible.

 

This means a huge amount to me and brings back such happy memories of my Dad and my childhood.
