ok this was discussed last night in the boozer after a few bevvies.

 

If Jose goes to Barca/madrid etc in the summer do you think he would come straight in for Stevie??

 

Or Lampard or not bother?

 

It just worries me he may try and unsettle him again.

 

and for the record i dont think he would go or would i want him to.

They got so much up front in Eto'o, Roanldinho, Messi, Henry, Dos Santos, Bojan, always needing to play three if not four of them, then with Xavi and Iniesta in the mix, I'd say a Mascherano or Lucho, Essien maybe, would be a priority for them to line up with Ya Ya Toure, they really dont need an attacking midfielder. Plus Gerrard dont like it abroad.

i took it to mean the spanish influence and general lack of English presence, but only Molby knows
