for technical advice:

 

what is involved in getting video tapes onto a PC and converting them into DVD? Do you need special equipment or software? Anyone tried it?

 

Could I play a video on my telly and record the output on my V+ box? Could I then copy that into a laptop? How?

 

Help, advice etc. gratefully received.

 

 

 

BTW - I know I can get a DVD recorder but I 'd prefer not to go down that route if I can get away with it.
