Dee Posted November 5, 2007 Posted November 5, 2007 The govt are considering plans to raise the minimum age to leave school from 16 to 18. Should kids be forced to stay in school til 18?Should all kids be forced to take GCSEs and A-Levels?Should alternative teaching and learning methods be explored? (i.e non-formal class teaching, more practical and hands on alternatives?) I'm not sure what i think about this. Are schools failing kids? Are kids just not engaging with curricula? Should we blame successive govts for f***ing with schools and causing this problem?
