haven't seen all of the second series, but the last two episodes of saxondale were sound.

 

his 'deaf man telling a joke' routine (in court) was ace. coogan might be a tool, but his impersonations are always spot on.

 

great line in tonight's show:

 

"it's ok, i haven't been fondled in the vestry by father o'fiddle" was crass comedy done well.

 

as has been said before, the show's no "i'm alan partridge" in terms of laughs, but it's good enough to warrant another series. the first series improved on second viewing, i reckon this one will too.
