Are they worth the risk?

 

I know a few people here work for Virgin Media/NTL/Telewest so apologies!

 

My retention agreement (half price tv for 12 months) with Virgin Media just ran out so I gave them a call to see if they could give me another deal. I have the full XL TV package with Sports & Movies and the £10 per month charge for V+, taking my new monthly bill up to a rather large £58 per month.

 

After spending 35 mins on hold to them and a further 25 mins talking to the retentions’ department they decided to offer me nothing to keep me as a customer (been with them for nearly 6 years). I now have my cancelation date so I've been looking into other solutions.

 

Sky will cost me nearly the same amount so I doubt I'll be moving to them. I then came across some info for DBoxes and was intrigued.

 

Anyone here have one or something like it? If so any advice/pointers.
