Council's Cocking Recycling Initiative

Don't get me wrong i'm all for recycling, however, what I am not all for is being forced to do it myself.

 

At the moment I have the following which the council have given me and told me to sort out my rubbish into, rather than put it all in one bin.

 

> a bin for non recyclable waste

> a box for glasses, cans and jars

> a bag for papers and magazines

> a bag for clothes

> another bin for compostable garden waste

 

If I don't, I face a fine as these bins are supposedly smarter than me and can tell if i'm not playing by the rules.

 

Do they think I have nothing better to do than fret which one of the myriad of containers and bags a particular piece of rubbish goes in.

 

World's gone mad I tells yeh.

 

Although a lot of the boards posters live down south, so you've probably been doing this for years unlike us northern losers.
