A question about the selling arrangements for ballot winners

If I intend to pick my ticket up from the TO in person, do I still need to fill that form in and send it to the TO?

The letter does not make this clear.

just spoken to the TO

if you are collecting in person you don't have to send the form to them via the Royal Mail

just take the form and your fan card with you when you go to collect

Cunny - when you get your ticket would you mind posting the distinguishing watermark(s), logos etc. so those looking to 'obtain' tickets out there have an idea what they're looking for ?

Lee,

Without scanning mine in - it looks like...

ticketab5.jpg

Quite a big ticket, left hand side has the athens logo (with a small barcode on the other side of it), main seat details are Finalist A, gate number, section (A or B), row, seat, ticket price in euros. Another number to the right of those details like No. XXXXX

There is some greek / english small print about the greek FA at the bottom.

The stub side has the same main seat details as above with a starball as the watermark / security bit.

The back has some sponsor logos - Heineken, MasterCard, Sony, ERT, Playstation 3, Vodafone, Ford and UEFA Champions League. There is a block of text about general conditions and map of the stadium area.

Hope that helps.

I deleted the pic by Hoff. I've heard a rumour that it's barcode entry, and if a fake ticket gets in first then it annuls the original ticket.

That's poor. Another UEFA classic.

Suppose it was too much effort to put a hologram on it with the barcode. Wonders will never cease.

As I said, it's a rumour - there's loads going around at the moment.

No worries Kev - I was a bit reluctant to put the bigger one on for obvious reasons.

I've had a scout on other sites and it looks like no-one has picked up on it.

Cheers - much appreciated. I had a look around too. I think most copies will be made by someone who has an original in hand to copy from - but it's better to play it safe.

Might be worth rubbing the back with a coin - see if any writing appears. It is one of the current security measures being used (not necessarily by UEFA, not specifically in footy either). I'm speaking from (a very bad) recent personal experience.

It is a good method as the outer ring of security staff can easily and quickly turn a ticket over, rub it with a coin and see if it is genuine or not.
