I want to be Tiger Woods

I have not played for 7 years and decided to try to get back into it. We went to a Golf Training school at Battle near Hastings this weekend, I was on the advanced course and the missus went on the beginner?s course. It was all very intense with a round of golf in the morning followed by 4 hours of tuition on the driving range and in this studio with cameras and computers to analyse your swing. Completely changed my posture and swing as I looked a right fecking dick on video.

 

My missus and her class were taken on the course on the second day just to try everything out on the first 4 holes. Now this cow has never hit a ball before and is happy if she can hit it 100 yards along the floor with a 3 wood. 3rd hole was a 157 yard par 3 and she goes and hits a hole in one. If she can go 10 mins now without mentioning it I am happy.

 

I am now looking to join a club down here but its very expensive, ranging from £900 - £3000. God I miss the north.

 

Any golfers here who play in the Watford sort of area?
