Some help/advice required

A friend of mine, well actually more of a friend of a friend really, is self-harming (cutting herself) quite badly...she asked for help on saturday of my friend to help her take care of some of the wounds. But wouldn't talk about it or really address the why & reasons behind it. Apparently she has a job she really likes, a nice house, good friends etc - but is really missing/yearning for a relationship (that seems to define her life/existence) at least that's the level of the psycho-analysis we can manage.

 

We're quite worried about her as it's getting quite serious. She fails to see the problem tho...

 

What can we do??
