Murdoch's pulled the plug on my Sky News!

I have cable TV with Virgin Media (ex-Telewest). As usual I watched Sky News around midnight, and sure enough the screen went blank at 12.00, following Virgin Media's refusal to pay the new prices for the channels that Sky had demanded. Sky had apparently doubled the asking price.

 

Sky Sports News and Sky One had also gone when I checked. I rarely watch those channels so I'm not bothered.

 

Listening to comment on the radio, it seems as if most people are blaming Virgin Media. Personally I think this is a plot by the Dirty Digger Murdoch to make people get rid of cable and order their Sky mini-dishes. I'm sticking with that nice Richard Branson. He makes excellent pickle.
