Cheap Hotels In London

Are there any decent hotels in London, reasonably close to the centre of london for about 50/60 quid a night?

I swear down, I lived in the place for long enough without having to use one, so I have no idea where to look.

 

I went to last minute and they're quoting me like 90/100 quid a night...what a joke man serious.

I just want a room for a couple of nights - 9/10 March to be exact.

 

I'd rather book with the hotel direct cos I've had loads of trouble with 3rd parties ringing me on the day of me getting down there saying 'there has been a problem' blah blah.

 

Also, some of these hotels make you pay per person, I wanna pay per room straight up.

A room larger than the box room I live in at yard would be beneficial too.

 

Somewhere near either paddington/edgeware road station?

 

Theres no hope is there?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
